扶輪歷史

全球第一個扶輪社是由保羅·咍里斯結合一群來自不同行業的朋友，於1905年2月23日創立於美國伊利諾州芝加哥；首次聚會中，有保羅·咍里斯和三位朋友出席。最初此扶輪社的定期聚會是每週輪流在各社員的工作場所舉辦，因此以「輪流」（英文：Rotary）作為社名。
1910年正式成立扶輪社全國協會（英文：The National Association of Rotary Clubs），之後扶輪社逐漸推廣到美國及加拿大各地；1921年全球六大洲都成立了扶輪社，於是隔年的1922年便通過改以國際扶輪（英文：Rotary International）作為正式名稱。1925年，在全球共成立超過200個社以及超過20,000名社員。當時包括作家托馬斯·曼、人道主義者艾伯特·史懷哲和作曲家讓·西貝流士都是扶輪社的社員。
在第一次世界大戰和第二次世界大戰期間，扶輪社的活動在歐洲部分國家一度被禁止，戰後由共產政權掌權的東歐也持續禁止到1989年。直到1990年在俄羅斯才成立了第一個扶輪社。
目前，國際扶輪在全球有超過120萬社員及36,000個扶輪社，成為全世界社團之一。

國際扶輪（Rotary International），是由分布在168個國家和地區中共約36,000個扶輪社組成的國際組織，主要提供各種社會服務。各地扶輪社的成立皆須向國際扶輪申請且獲得同意，並遵循共同的準則運作；原則上各扶輪社都是獨立運作的社團，但會間接接受國際扶輪的指導。
國際扶輪的特色之一，是每一個扶輪社的成員需來自各種不同的職業，並鼓勵社員在各自的職業中提高職業道德，進而提供各項社會服務；另一個特色是各扶輪社固定每周利用一次的早餐、午餐或是晚餐時間舉行例行聚會，聚餐時間既是社交活動又是一起討論服務目標的機會，聚會中通常都會邀請各種來賓做關於各種課題的演講。
扶輪社的成員稱為「扶輪社友」（英文：Rotarians），主要的標語是「超我服務」（英文：Service above Self）及「服務最多，獲利最豐」（英文：They Profit Most Who Serve Best）。
2020年10月19日時，在全球168國家或地區中共有36,350個扶輪社，1,194,505位社員。

扶輪社有更悠久的歷史超過90年在緬甸。隨著扶輪社的成長，組織逐漸從專業擴展和成員的社會福利。扶輪社員開始奉獻他們的資源和人才，以説明需要的社區。扶輪社承諾服務社區可以觀察到從我們的座右銘"服務高於自我"。
Rotary Club has a history of more than 90 years in Myanmar. As Rotary grows, the mission of the organization gradually expands from the professional and social benefits of members. Rotarians began to devote their resources and talents to help the communities in need. Rotary's commitment to serve communities can be observed from our motto – "Service Above Self".

1. 扶輪開啟公益之門： 愛心送緬甸 - 捐贈午餐飯盒COVID-19 疫情系列
支援COVID-19大流行下的緬甸社區：
- 為醫院醫生、護士和一線工作人員
- 在療養院保障老人的健康
- 教育孤兒院的青少年瞭解疾病預防
- 不時訪問和捐贈醫療用品給各種受益組織
目標群體：一線醫務工作者、老人、孤兒
專案時期：2020年9月-12月非定期訪問
2.扶輪開啟健康之門 - 緬甸幼兒學童公共衛生推廣計劃
為保障COVID-19 新冠疫情減輕對緬甸醫療系統的負擔，
本社以「預防勝於醫療」理念，逐為緬甸幼兒學童推廣公共衛生教育，提高廣大學童防疫意識，保護自己及家人健康。
此計劃於本年2-3月份曾推廣服務至於11所公學校，受惠學童有1400人及家庭。（正與緬甸教育、衛生與體育局商議合作全國推廣）
3. 扶輪開啟生命之源 - 潔淨水系統
改善方式 ：
取代地下水井 - 重新淨水過濾、衛生儲存 、潔淨管道輸送、使用
4. 扶輪開啟知識之門 - 流動多元化資訊課室
多元化功能: * 公共卫生 * 教育培訓 * 资讯科技 * 电子图书馆 * 流动电影院，使有效的教育是向農村地區介紹，以舉辦課程或研討會。失學兒童，提高他們的能力。
目標群體：未上學的兒童、婦女、老人和村民。
5. 扶輪開啟技術之門 - 職業培訓中心
為貧困地區農民提供應用基礎技能培訓，提升個人日常應用技能服務
社群，達到經濟效益生活條件！
審核應用課程內容;正為政府商議溢定合作意向書
目標群體：農村地區的村民

Oxygen concentrators support human breathing by extracting high-concentration oxygen from the air and water are commonly used in home medical care under the direction of doctors.
